Oversaw selection and updating of content for high-traffic sections such as entertainment, real estate, weddings, recreation and teens. Responsibilities included writing and editing copy, editing freelance columnists, choosing or assigning graphics, and designing HTML layouts.
Project highlights:
• Compiled biweekly email newsletter for LasVegas.com which highlighted the site's features and promotions for 30,000 subscribers, and collaborated with graphic artists on layout and design
• Designed interface for real estate product to maximize potential for revenue through advertising upsells, and wrote copy for collateral pieces distributed to potential advertisers
• Moderated message boards and celebrity chats
