Official Rules

ELIGIBILITY:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. You must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry to win. Employees of Donrey Media Interactive, Las Vegas Review-Journal ("Donrey" or "Technical Provider"), any contest Sponsors and their respective parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and the immediate families of each are ineligible to participate in this promotion. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. This promotion is void where prohibited by law.

HOW TO ENTER:
(1) Enter online at www.lasvegas.com. Fill in the online entry form in its entirety in order to be eligible. One entry is allowed per person. Participants must list their full name, street address, phone number and e-mail address in order to enter the contest.

Participation in the drawing constitutes the entrant's full and unconditional acceptance of these Official rules. Neither Sponsor nor the Technical Provider are responsible for technical, hardware, software, or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions which may limit or interfere with a participant's ability to take part in the drawing. In addition, Sponsor nor the Technical Provider shall not be responsible for any damage to any computer or other property resulting from participating in, or downloading any materials for, this drawing. Each e-mail entry shall be deemed to have been sent by the authorized account holder, at the time of such entry, of the e-mail address indicated on such entry. Entries which are incomplete, tampered with, illegible, mechanically reproduced, inaccurate, forged, irregular in any way or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right, in it's sole discretion, to cancel or modify the online drawing if fraud, technical failure, virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor destroy the integrity of this promotion. The Sponsor's judgment with regard to the rules of the Contest shall be final.

PROMOTION PERIOD:
The promotion begins September 1, 2001. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PST September 27, 2001.

DRAWING:
There will be one (1) winner determined by a random drawing from all eligible entries received to be held on or about September 7, 2001; there will be one (1) winner determined by a random drawing from all eligible entries received to be held on or about September 14, 2001; there will be one (1) winner determined by a random drawing from all eligible entries received to be held on or about September 21, 2001; there will be one (1) winner determined by a random drawing from all eligible entries received to be held on or about September 28, 2001. In the event the potential winner does not qualify or is not willing to accept the prize, there will be an alternate winner drawing. All decisions of Sponsor are final and binding.

PRIZE:
A total of four (4) prizes will be awarded for the "Emeril's Las Vegas Sweepstakes" promotion. The winners will receive a gift certificate valued at $100.00 at Emeril's New Orleans Fish House located in the MGM Grand Hotel. No substitution or cash equivalent of prizes granted except at Sponsor's sole option of a prize of comparable or greater value. No prize transfers permitted. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited 90 days after winner is announced. PRIZES ARE AWARDED "AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.

NOTIFICATION OF WINNER:
The potential prize winner will be notified by e-mail. The winner may need to show valid state issued driver's license or other identification as evidence of identity. All federal, state, and local taxes are the prize winner's sole responsibility. Winner agrees that Donrey may use their name, likeness in promotional materials without further payment or consideration.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
BY ENTERING THIS PROMOTION, EACH PARTICIPANT AGREES TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS DONREY, ITS PARENT, SUBSIDIARY AND AFFILIATED COMPANIES AND THEIR RESPECTIVE EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS AND SHAREHOLDERS HARMLESS FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, LOSS, DAMAGE TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY, COSTS, EXPENSES AND ACTIONS OF ANY KIND RELATED TO OR ARISING OUT OF ENTRY INTO THIS CONTEST, PROMOTION OR RESULTING FROM THE ACCEPTANCE OR USE OF ANY OF THE PRIZES AWARDED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, INVASION OF THE RIGHT OF PRIVACY OR PUBLICITY.
